Class Descriptions

Instruction is geared toward the current level of each student.  Progressions and drills are incorporated as important parts of learning gymnastics safely, correctly, and efficiently.  Emphasis will be on correct form and technique to reduce injuries and promote learning.  These fun-filled classes are co-ed until age 5.  All-Boys Classes are offered for Rompin' Rabbits and Recreational Level Classes.

  • Bunny Tots(ages 1 1/2-3 years) This class provides activities for parent and child to explore together.  Rhythmic warm-ups are followed by fun circuits that incorporated tumbling, low bars, trampoline, low beam, hand-eye activities, more!
  • Bouncin' Bunnies (ages 3-4 years) Little gymnasts will experience fun and learning as they gain proficiency on the tumbling shapes, low beams, trampoline, spring boards, and low bars.  Safety is emphasized and confidence is encouraged.
  • Rompin' Rabbits (ages 5-6 years) Young gymnasts will learn and refine entry level skills following the same fun progressions and circuits listing in the Bouncin' Bunnies program above.
  • Gym N' Learn Preschool

The newest concept at CS Gymnastics, Gym n' Learn Pre-School Academy, will soon be entering its 3rd season this coming fall 2009.  Started in the fall of 2007, Gym n' Learn is the area's only Fitness Based pre-school for 3-5 year olds.

In addition to a vigorous 45 minute gymnastics work-out (incorporating all specialized gymnastic equipment), your preschooler will really enjoy the education al part of the class.  our aim is to enhance growth in all aspects of learning: physical, social and cognitive.  A unique and beneficial aspect of the Gym n' Learn program is that it is a mixed age group class.  Mixed age grouping invites cooperation and learning from peers as well as allowing children to develop at their own pace with reduced stress.

With a Maters of Early Childhood Education, Lisa Regan directs this program.  Lisa also bring with her, experience and knowledge as a gymnastics coach and a mother of 5.

New this fall 2009, CS will be adding a 3rd day to the Gym n' Learn schedule; thus making it available on Friday mornings as well as the original Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
