Ultimate Ninja Athlete

Ultimate Ninja Athlete (UNA) at CS provides the most fun and complete ninja training around!

The mission of this program is to create the ultimate ninja athlete by combining obstacle training and parkour with elements of gymnastics & stunt tumbling. The result is a super fit athlete that can handle anything a ninja warrior course can throw at them!


LEVELS:

Level 1 – Beginner, Color White
Class time: 1hr
Skill requirements: None

 

Level 2 – Novice, Color Yellow
Class time: 1hr
Skill requirements:
Obstacles: Ability to follow an obstacle course and basic understanding of the types of obstacles used in UNA
Gymnastics/Stunt Skills: Ninja roll, fwd & bwd roll, dive forward roll, donkey kick, lever, walking tunnel, table hold, basic cartwheel, back handspring over barrel with or without assistance, basic palm spin and wall run.
Parkour: Ability to identify and attempt basic vault styles (side vault, safety vault, kong vault, speed vault, lazy vault, dash vault, turn vault)

 

Level 3 – Intermediate, Color Green
Class time: 1hr
Skill requirements:
Obstacles: Proficiency in all types of obstacle clearing techniques
Gymnastics/Stunt Skills: Handstand, cartwheel/round-off, back handspring w/ or without assistance, front flip on trampoline, basic understanding of back flip, wall run, palm spin, beginner wall and side flips
Parkour: Proficiency in all vaults and maneuvers

 

Level 4 – Advanced, Color Blue
Class time: 1hr 30 minutes
Skill requirements:
Obstacles: Advanced skill in all types of obstacle clearing techniques
Gymnastics/Stunt Skills: Back handspring, front handspring, front and side flips, back flip with or without spot, beginner aerial/butterfly kick, front gainer flip.
Parkour: Advanced skill in all maneuvers.

 

Level 5 – Expert, Colors Red, Black & Gold
Class time: 1hr 30 minutes
Skill requirements:
Obstacles: Mastery of all obstacles and clearing techniques
Gymnastics/Stunt Skills: Connected tumbling skills (Ex: Round off back handspring or tuck), All direction flips, front and back gainer, aerial and butterfly kick, spin  flip.
Parkour: Mastery of all maneuvers.
